Job Description
Provide specialized critical care in a fast-paced Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting, delivering exceptional patient outcomes with a focus on young patients complex cardiac needs. This contract role demands expertise, precision, and compassion in managing critically ill children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care with patient ratios of 1:1 in ICU, 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 in stepdown/non-ICU units.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to pediatric cardiovascular conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
- Facilitate family education and emotional support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU nursing.
- Certified in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
