Schedule & Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- Full-time schedule
- Weekend shifts as needed (typically every other)
- Floating to other units as needed
- Holiday coverage as scheduled
- No on-call requirements
What Youll Need:
- Active IL RN License
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience, with strong proficiency in EPIC charting
- Experience or interest in Cardiac-Neuro ICU care
- Ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or up to 2-3 depending on acuity
- Updated resume, recent skills checklist, and current professional reference
- Documentation submitted and credentials completed before orientation
Primary Duties:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients
- Respond swiftly to evolving patient needs in a complex ICU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Accurately document care in EPIC
- Adapt to floating assignments as required
