This ICU features two podsone a brand-new 12-bed expansionoffering services to patients navigating neuro, medical/surgical, and trauma events. The nursing staff includes a diverse mix of seasoned professionals and collaborative teammates, all guided by 24/7 intensivist coverage known for mentorship and partnership.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with proven experience in any ICU setting (medical, surgical, neuro, or trauma)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum of two years experience in ICU strongly desired
• Flexibility, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-first attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert critical care for a diverse population, including neuro-surgical, trauma (soon to be Level II), cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and complex cases requiring ventilation
• Manage advanced technologies and monitoring equipment: Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero
• Maintain 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios when possible, adapting care levels as patient acuity demands
• Adhere to unit policies while collaborating closely with charge nurses and techs to ensure top-quality care
• Participate in ongoing communication with interdisciplinary teams, including highly respected intensivists
• Provide compassionate, thorough care and advocacy for patients and families throughout critical episodes
