Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating shifts with every other weekend requirement
- No on-call obligations
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering expert critical care to post-surgical patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Carrying out comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and promptly reporting changes in condition
- Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administering medications, managing complex IV therapies, and adhering to ICU protocols
- Documenting patient care using Cerner OneChart EHR
- Upholding a safe work environment and infection control standards
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Recent experience in an ICU or surgical critical care setting strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Familiarity with Cerner OneChart is a plus
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to new clinical environments
