Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide critical care in a specialized pediatric intensive care unit during night shifts. This contracted position demands a high level of expertise within acute care environments, particularly in trauma centers.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current New York State RN registration
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), with capability for recertification
- Minimum three years of recent PICU experience within the past two years, preferably in level 1 or level 2 trauma centers
- Prior work experience in hospitals of similar or greater size for travel nurses
- Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Clean professional licensure and certification record with no past suspensions or investigations
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Successful completion of pre-employment health screenings, drug testing, and criminal background checks
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care and perform nursing assessments in a high-acuity pediatric setting
- Demonstrate autonomy in skill execution after orientation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide care during night shifts, including every other weekend and select holidays
