Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, including patient assessment, ventilator management, and use of advanced life support technology
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring effective coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while prioritizing patient safety and emotional support

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive nursing care and ongoing monitoring to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, implement individualized care plans, and continually adjust interventions based on changes in patient status
• Respond rapidly to emergent clinical situations and effectively execute life-saving interventions in accordance with best practices and hospital protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all observations, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide support and education to families of critically ill patients, helping them navigate difficult circumstances
