Key Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Strong clinical skills in monitoring and caring for patients with shock, trauma, or life-threatening conditions
- Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff at various skill levels
- Proficient with standard nursing procedures and skilled in crisis management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered nursing care based on the established standards of the unit and the nursing process
- Coordinate care for an assigned group of patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care
- Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, employing critical thinking and decisive judgment in high-pressure situations
- Supervise and support other nursing staff to maintain optimal workflow and patient safety
- Document all relevant observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in patient records
- Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families during challenging circumstances
