Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with flexible assignment length

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to supervise and support nursing staff at various levels

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, comprehensive care to ICU patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions
  • Continuously assess patient status and implement appropriate nursing interventions
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with physicians and other clinical team members
  • Utilize critical thinking to prioritize care and address changing patient needs
  • Oversee and mentor assigned nursing support staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate, thorough medical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
