This travel position places you in a dynamic ICU environment, where you will collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals in a fast-paced Medical, Trauma, and Neuro ICU setting. Rotating through night shifts, youll benefit from exposure to varied workplace cultures, practices, and leadership styles. This not only strengthens your clinical expertise, but also enhances your professional development and distinguishes your resume for future roles.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (3 x 12-hour or 4 x 12-hour shifts)
- Rotating shifts (no blocked schedules)
- Call is rare
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- TNCC certification required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Experience in Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in Medical/Trauma/Neuro ICU settings
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient status
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and ongoing care plans
