Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays included
• No on-call
• Paid orientation (up to 16 hours)
• Biweekly pay schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care primarily in CVICU, with possible float to other ICU units as needed
• Expert management of post-cardiac surgical patients, including devices such as Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, LVAD/RVAD, ECMO, and more
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and support of multi-system organ failure
• Administration and management of IV therapies, blood products, and various lines (arterial, central, PICC)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams using Epic EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of recent CVICU experience
• Charge nurse experience (preferred)
• Strong Epic EMR proficiency
• Current IL RN license, ACLS, CPR, and NIHSS certifications
• Passing EKG test (80%+)
• Recent CVICU skills checklist and supervisor reference
