Job Description
Provide expert critical care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic 36-bed Intensive Care Unit specializing in neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical cases. This contract position in Arlington Heights, IL offers an opportunity to apply advanced skills in a highly respected healthcare setting while working 12-hour night shifts in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity. Utilize your proficiency in EPIC charting to maintain accurate and timely documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. Flexibility to float across units and work holiday or weekend shifts as needed is required.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Minimum 2 years of strong ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
- Ability to adapt to floating and varied patient acuity levels

Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (6 pm 6 am)
