A registered nurse with recent acute care ICU experience is needed to support a Level 1 Trauma Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This contract opportunity involves working in a high-acuity Trauma ICU setting with a night shift schedule, focusing on providing expert patient care and adapting to a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a trauma ICU according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex patient cases.
- Adhere to hospital policies and standards to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in mandatory floater assignments within the hospital system as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work night shifts: three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Willingness to float as required by the facility.
- Residents living within 75 miles preferred.
- No pending licenses accepted.
Shift Details and Requirements
- Night shifts only, 3x12-hour schedule.
- Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month).
- Maximum of 5 days requested off, no more than 2 consecutive days.
- No requests for time off on holidays, weekends, or adjacent days.
- Uniform scrub color: Navy Blue.
- Charting system: Cerner.
