Job Description
Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting, delivering coordinated and comprehensive care to critically ill patients. In this critical role, you will apply the nursing process and established standards to manage patient care efficiently while supervising and guiding nursing staff. Your ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize sound clinical judgment will be essential in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care tailored to the needs of critically ill patients.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff across various levels, promoting a cohesive and efficient care environment.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Document nursing activities accurately and ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate in educational and non-productive departmental activities as part of the Float Pool nursing team.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex patient care in an ICU setting.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
