Role Overview:
Step into a full-time travel nursing assignment in a dynamic mixed cardiac and medical ICU. Here, youll manage a broad array of patient conditions, including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator-dependent care. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 in the ICU, youll provide exceptional care in an environment that supports both clinical independence and collaboration, gaining exposure to a variety of treatment protocols and leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours

  • 7PM 7AM
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • No on-call or floating assignments

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in-state or compact
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • One year of critical care/ICU nursing preferred; new graduates welcome
  • Willingness to complete organizational orientation, preceptorship, and annual competency validations

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Address psychological, cultural, and emotional needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
  • Thoroughly document patient histories and care details
  • Educate patients and families on health management and available resources
  • Make appropriate clinical assignments and delegate tasks to optimize care delivery
