This travel role grants exposure to dynamic ICU environments caring for a blend of medical, surgical, and cardiac patientsranging from those in shock or trauma to critically ill post-surgical cases. You'll expand your skillset working alongside a diverse healthcare team employing a variety of care strategies and leadership styles, helping you grow as a clinician and as a leader.
Schedule:
- Full-time, travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed in the interview).
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license.
- Minimum one year ICU nursing experience (medical, surgical, and/or cardiac focus preferred).
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (additional advanced certifications strongly encouraged).
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct varying levels of nursing support.
- Excellent critical thinking, organization, and judgment skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care following established nursing process and facility protocols.
- Coordinate and supervise care for assigned patients and nursing staff.
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Apply evidence-based practices to complex, high-acuity cases.
- Exercise sound clinical and supervisory judgment under pressure.
