This travel nursing role places you in a dynamic ICU environment, caring for a diverse mix of patients including neurological, surgical, pulmonary, trauma, and cardiology cases. Working in this multidisciplinary unit will enhance your clinical expertise as you engage with advanced medical technologies and collaborate with knowledgeable healthcare leaders. Expect a fast-paced setting that will expand your professional repertoire and provide valuable exposure to diverse treatment protocols and leadership styles.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active RN license (in good standing)
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Cerner experience required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from facility location
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, compassionate care to acutely ill patients in a technologically advanced ICU, including ventilator and cardiac monitoring
- Utilize and manage a broad range of equipment, such as PA catheters, arterial/central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO, Impella, BIS monitors, CRRT, and more
- Coordinate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Fulfill care functions in compliance with licensure, certification, and safety standards
