An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Home Health to provide compassionate, skilled nursing care in patients homes. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care in accordance with physician orders and agency standards.
- Conduct patient assessments and document changes in medical condition promptly.
- Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Licensed Vocational Nurses according to state-specific guidelines.
- Maintain accurate communication and documentation in patient medical records.
- Follow all state and federal regulations governing home care nursing.
- Perform supervisory visits as required based on patient condition and state regulations.
- Ensure coordination of all nursing services for each patient.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, unencumbered RN license specific to the assigned state; Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficient with computer applications, including electronic health records and online training platforms.
- Ability to assess and address patient needs across age groups.
- Reliable transportation with a valid drivers license and liability insurance.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
