Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus in home health care, working on a contract basis in Ocean Springs, MS. This role is ideal for an RN skilled in delivering high-quality patient care within the home setting and proficient in OASIS documentation.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, including vital signs, medication management, and wound care. Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Accurately document patient care activities in electronic medical records (EMR). Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising physicians. Ensure compliance with state and federal home health regulations.

Qualifications: Active RN license. Minimum of 3 months home health experience with OASIS documentation. Experience with HCHB software is a strong advantage. Proficient clinical skills, including IV therapy, wound care, and medication management. Comfortable using EMR systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with effective time management. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Contract Details: This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
