As part of your role, youll expand your skillset in home health nursing, work with diverse patient populations, and gain valuable experience with CMS/OASIS home health programs. This assignment will enrich your resume and offer memorable experiences during your time off, from winter sports to exploring the local culture.
Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
- On-call: Average one weekend a month, plus 12 overnight calls per week (4:30 p.m. 8:00 a.m.)
- Participation in holiday rotations
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required; AK license preferred (must apply within 24 hours after accepting if not already held)
- BLS certification required
- At least one year of experience in CMS/OASIS Home Health program required; two years preferred
- Reliable transportation is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using CMS/OASIS standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Take part in on-call rotations and provide care during holidays as scheduled
