This assignment will immerse you in modern home health protocols using advanced technology, including Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR and Samsung Note 9 phones, expanding your digital charting skills. Youll have valuable autonomy in scheduling and patient care approachesperfect for experienced home health nurses seeking to broaden their impact while having daytime hours to explore local culture, nature, and cuisine.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active RN license, valid drivers license, and proof of insurance
- Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) charting experience REQUIRED
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with Oasis, wound care (including wound vacs), PICC line and port access, IV infusions, catheter and drain management
- Strong infection control practices and critical thinking skills
- Able to drive at night
- Comfort with technology (EPIC Rover view only, Focura documentation)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive adult patient care, including wound, cath, IV, disease management, and education
- Manage caseload of 6-7 visit equivalents per day; 30 per week
- Conduct admissions, documentation, and patient/family education
- Schedule patient visits daily in advance; utilize provided smartphone for communication and EMR
- Collaborate effectively with LPNs, CNAs, peers, and leadership
