Job Description
Make a difference in patients lives by providing expert care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Home Health services. This contract offers an initial 8-week assignment (potentially extending to 12 weeks, based on census) where youll support individuals in the comfort of their own homes across the Greensboro and High Point areas.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health case management
- Previous experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) and travel nursing is required
- Comfortable managing a personal case load and working independently
- Ability to drive with reliable, insured personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement at the federal rate provided)
- Strong communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in their homes
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans
- Manage assigned caseload, complete documentation using HCHB software, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and health maintenance
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and facility policies
- Travel throughout the Greensboro and High Point regions to visit patients
