This travel nursing assignment delivers valuable exposure to both urban and rural settings, enhancing your ability to manage diverse patient populations and diagnoses. The role supports your professional growth through collaborative teamwork with experienced leaders, LPNs, CNAs, and case management professionals. Schedule/Hours:

• Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Required Time Off approval by manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to adults (18+) in the home health setting, handling complex cases including wound care, vacs, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Conduct an average of 6-7 weighted visits per day and 2 admissions daily
• Schedule patient visits directly and ensure timely, thorough documentation using Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
• Collaborate closely with departmental leadership, LPNs, CNAs, and peers for optimal patient outcomes
• Travel between patient locations across multiple counties; reliable transportation is essential

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum one year of recent Home Health nursing experience
• Homecare Homebase proficiency required
• BLS certification
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
• Strong skills in critical thinking, infection control, wound vacs, port access, IV infusions, catheter insertions
• Comfortable driving at night
• Willingness to wear navy scrubs
