Spend your days gaining deeper clinical insight as you visit patients throughout neighboring towns, and your downtime discovering local parks, trails, and cultural gems unique to this part of North Carolina.
As you care for adult patients with wound care needs, post-surgical drains, complex medication regimens, and critical disease management, youll refine your expertise in home health and learn from the collaborative support of experienced leadership, LPN/CNA peers, and case management professionals. Exposure to Homecare Homebase electronic charting, Samsung mobile devices, and multi-system workflow tools will further expand your clinical and technological skill set. With flexible weekday scheduling (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), youll have the structure to plan your adventures and professional growth in equal measure.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS certification
- Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
- At least 1 year of home health nursing experience
- Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for charting
- Experience with OASIS assessments, wound vacs, wound care, PICC/port management, IV infusions, and drainage systems
- Comfortable driving to client homes throughout the assigned region, including nighttime travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home nursing assessments, complete documentation, and deliver skilled care to adult patients
- Manage wound care, catheters, drains, infusions, and ongoing patient education
- Schedule visits, coordinate care with interdisciplinary team, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers using company-provided Samsung devices
