Deliver expert nursing care in a rewarding travel opportunity based in Fort Wainwright, AK, supporting patients in their home health journeys. This full-time role focuses on providing comprehensive assessments and personalized care plans that address the physical, psychological, social, and cultural needs of patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute meaningfully to the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments including patient history, diagnostics review, and ongoing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care and discharge plans with measurable goals.
- Communicate abnormal findings to physicians and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide patient and family education aligned with health goals and treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations in all nursing activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Alaska RN license.
- Experience in acute care settings within the last 12 months.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
