Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract assignment (duration specified upon placement)

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in Georgia
  • Minimum of one year of recent ER/ED nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
  • Commitment to upholding the ANA Code of Ethics and professional standards
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary care teams
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care to emergency department patients
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
  • Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and best practices driven by evidence-based research
  • Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment
  • Participate in initiatives that promote service excellence and patient safety
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and the professional practice environment
