Schedule/Hours:
- Self-scheduling for maximum flexibility
- 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN license
- Recent Emergency Room clinical experience (highly preferred)
- Proficiency with Pyxis medication and Cerner documentation systems
- Adaptability to 4:1 patient ratios in a 30-bed ER with 20 hallway spaces
- Strong teamwork, communication, and triage skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations
- Perform direct patient assessments, interventions, and continuous monitoring
- Manage medication administration using Pyxis systems
- Accurately document assessments and care in Cerner system
- Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, including weekend shifts
