Schedule/Hours:
- Self-scheduling allows for flexibility
- No call requirements
- Weekend rotation: 6 shifts every 6 weeks
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care as a key resource within a 30-bed Emergency Department
- Manage patient loads with a 4:1 staffing ratio
- Respond efficiently to emergencies, drawing on your ER nursing expertise
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 hospitalist and pharmacy services
- Document patient information using Cerner and manage medications with Pyxis
- Provide weekend coverage as scheduled
- Function as a Task RN; no floating, lift, or IV team responsibilities
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license, with recent Emergency Room experience
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation and Pyxis medication systems is a plus
- Adaptability and commitment to best practices in acute care environments
- Able to fulfill weekend and flexible scheduling requirements
