In this role, you will deliver comprehensive and coordinated nursing services to patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. Youll serve as a leader within your assigned unit, supervising other nursing staff and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team. Utilizing your critical thinking skills and sound judgment, you will ensure high-quality outcomes for every patient encounter.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing patient-centered care to assigned individuals in the emergency room setting
• Overseeing and directing nursing staff across various levels within your assigned area
• Collaborating with healthcare disciplines to implement and monitor individualized care plans
• Exercising critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in urgent situations
• Adhering to all established protocols, standards, and legal regulations for patient care
• Documenting care activities and maintaining accurate patient records
• Ensuring compliance with protocols that govern Float Pool nurse assignment and clock-in procedures

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license without restrictions
• Recent clinical experience within an Emergency Room (ER) or comparable high-acuity environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a patient-focused approach
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Capacity to remain calm, resourceful, and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
