Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room (ER) experience for a travel opportunity in Whittier, CA. This position involves working within the Float Pool, providing critical nursing care and support across various units as needed, with a focus on rounding and patient education during non-productive hours.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency settings, responding efficiently to urgent medical situations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and comprehensive care
- Accurately document nursing activities, with Float Pool nurses clocking in to the specific units where they work
- Participate in patient education and support during non-productive hours within the Float Pool department
- Maintain adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with verification of Emergency Room experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient needs
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills, essential for effective patient care and teamwork
