Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid, unencumbered RN license
- At least one year of recent ER experience preferred
- Competency in both emergency department and inpatient nursing care
- Ability to effectively manage ED and inpatient hold RN ratios and varying acuity
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in both the emergency department and inpatient hold settings
- Triage patients, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and hospital staff to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation according to facility policies and standards
- Support patient and family education regarding care, treatment, and next steps
