This opportunity places you in a bustling Emergency Department with 101 beds, renowned for its cohesive team dynamic and strong sense of camaraderie. Serving a richly diverse population speaking over 120 languages, you'll gain invaluable professional development by collaborating within a multicultural setting while enhancing your skillset at a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center with an annual volume exceeding 100,000 visits.

Youll build your resume working with advanced technologies (Baxter pumps, GE monitors) and state-of-the-art documentation systems (Cerner), while your ability to adapt will be tested and honed across all areas within the ED. Exposure to a variety of clinical challenges, highly skilled colleagues, and award-winning leadership makes this assignment a career-defining experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years nursing experience (1 year in an ER setting)
  • Previous work in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume ED preferred
  • Team-oriented approach with exceptional real-time feedback and coaching abilities
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (completed prior to start); ENPC within 90 days of hire
  • Flexibility to work all ED sections; adaptable to various patient ratios, including behavioral holds

Schedule:

  • Every other weekend required
  • Must accommodate department needs; no block scheduling
