An experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a night shift position in a busy 48-treatment space emergency room. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with a manageable 1:5 patient ratio, allowing for focused patient attention and impactful nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients in a dynamic ED setting
- Assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and effective care
- Document patient information accurately and update medical records
- Respond promptly to emergent patient needs to ensure safety and comfort
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
- Active RN license with demonstrated experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to maintain composure during fast-paced and stressful situations
- Familiarity with emergency equipment and protocols
