Professionally, youll work in a leading teaching hospital with a Level 1 Trauma designation, Chest Pain and Stroke Center certifications, and over 600 licensed beds. Immerse yourself in a high-acuity environment within a 61-bed (plus surge capacity) emergency department, gaining exposure to complex patient cases and a range of medical diagnoseschest pain, strokes, trauma, mental health crises, and more. Collaborate with skilled teams and seasoned leaders, deepening your clinical expertise and broadening your nursing perspectives.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P or 7P-7A
  • Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling cycle
  • No on-call required
  • Holiday rotation as needed

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience (first-time travelers welcome)
  • Active RN license
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (National emergency nursing certification preferred)
  • Ability to pass EKG competency (BCR)
  • Proven skills in Level 1 Trauma ER nursing; proficiency with emergency drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, etc.)

  • Manage high-stress and emergent situations with critical thinking
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Document in EMR (Epic)
