Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
- Rotating weekends (5-6 shifts out of 12 per six-week cycle)
- Holiday shifts required (one per major holiday)
- Flexible and traveler-friendly scheduling policies
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Basic Cardiac Rhythm knowledgemust pass EKG competency
- National certification in Emergency Nursing preferred (not required)
- Strong proficiency with Level 1 Trauma protocols, emergency medications, and advanced patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care for a diverse population (chest pain, strokes, trauma, and more)
- Manage patient ratios averaging 1:4 in a 61+ bed ED
- Collaborate with supportive multidisciplinary teams, including 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage
- Utilize advanced technologies: EPIC, Phillips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and unit-specific equipment
- Partner with CNAs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries to ensure smooth patient flow
- Float within the Emergency Department as needed
