Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Varied start times
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call required
  • 1 major holiday required

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of overall clinical, and 2 years of Emergency Department experience
  • At least 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred; strong transition skills required if limited travel experience
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred)
  • Proficiency with Epic documentation and Pyxis medication systems
  • Professional demeanor adhering to specified dress code and grooming standards
  • Strong teamwork mentality and positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled emergency care to high-acuity, predominantly geriatric patients
  • Respond efficiently to STEMI, stroke, trauma, syncope, and fall cases
  • Start IVs, perform venipuncture, EKGs, and collaborate with RT and case management
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and provide support during all shifts
