Provide critical emergency nursing care in an engaging and fast-paced environment located in Waimea, HI. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized Emergency Department experience to support patient care in a respected healthcare setting serving veterans.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department according to standard protocols.
- Manage variable shifts, including AM (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), PM (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), and 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts.
- Float as needed to Long Term Care or ICU departments to assist with patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Comply with facility guidelines and complete required documentation promptly.
- Coordinate arrival and compliance updates through facility communication channels prior to start.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two (2) years emergency department nursing experience.
- Ability to work a mandatory schedule of 80 hours in a two-week period with variable shifts.
- Flexibility to commit to a confirmed start date of 7:00 AM Mondayno exceptions.
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
Additional Information:
- Contract duration: thirteen weeks, with possible extension.
- Holiday shift pay based on hours worked on New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
- Compliance with facility onboarding requirements is mandatory before start date.
