Provide critical emergency nursing care in an engaging and fast-paced environment located in Waimea, HI. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized Emergency Department experience to support patient care in a respected healthcare setting serving veterans.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department according to standard protocols.
• Manage variable shifts, including AM (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), PM (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), and 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts.
• Float as needed to Long Term Care or ICU departments to assist with patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Comply with facility guidelines and complete required documentation promptly.
• Coordinate arrival and compliance updates through facility communication channels prior to start.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two (2) years emergency department nursing experience.
• Ability to work a mandatory schedule of 80 hours in a two-week period with variable shifts.
• Flexibility to commit to a confirmed start date of 7:00 AM Mondayno exceptions.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.

Additional Information:

• Contract duration: thirteen weeks, with possible extension.
• Holiday shift pay based on hours worked on New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
• Compliance with facility onboarding requirements is mandatory before start date.
