Serving a 108-bed hospital, your exposure to Cerner FirstNet EMR and a robust emergency department team will add valuable skills to your resume. Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930: 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs
- 1900-0730: 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs
- Weekend shift coverage required (24/7 department)
- No call requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with previous Emergency Room experience
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR (or willingness to learn)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; TNCC and PALS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels
- Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively within a fast-paced ED
- Accurately document all care provided using Cerner FirstNet
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Uphold best practices and adhere to hospital safety standards
