Professionals in this ER role will collaborate with an experienced team in a 108-bed hospital using the Cerner FirstNet EMR system, offering exposure to diverse clinical workflows and leadership strategies. Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts (12-hour rotations)
- 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shift
- 24/7 weekend coverage required
- No call required
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year prior experience as a registered nurse in ER/ED
- Sound clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in high-acuity environments
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to the needs of a dynamic emergency department
- Experience with Cerner FirstNet EMR preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Rapidly assess patients, prioritize care, and perform necessary interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, ED techs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document clinical findings and care within Cerner FirstNet
- Maintain infection control and adhere to hospital safety standards
