With a hospital boasting 108 beds and utilizing the Cerner FirstNet EMR system, youll collaborate with a team of 5 registered nurses and 3 ED techs per shift, ensuring around-the-clock care. This is a chance to observe and contribute to innovative emergency nursing practices, work under a variety of leadership styles, and expand your resume with meaningful experience in a supportive environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts: 07001930 and 19000730
- Full 24/7 weekend coverage required
- Call coverage is not required
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a strong background in emergency room settings
- Experience working with Cerner FirstNet preferred
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent critical thinking and adaptability
- Current BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and treat patients experiencing a range of acute medical emergencies
- Document effectively in Cerner FirstNet for seamless care coordination
- Collaborate with physicians, tech staff, and interdepartmental teams to maintain best practices and patient safety
- Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families in high-pressure situations
- Adhere to hospital protocols while embracing opportunities for continuous learning
