Deliver essential nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, providing expert treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and supervisory abilities to coordinate care effectively while overseeing a team of nursing professionals. The focus is on delivering high-quality, coordinated care according to established nursing standards and the nursing process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across various experience levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in patient treatment
- Participate in trauma patient triage, treatment, and acute care management as needed
- Ensure adherence to established standards of care and nursing protocols
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with emergency room nursing experience required
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff effectively
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
- Experience with trauma care and acute patient management preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
