This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with experience in Emergency Room care, located in Virginia Beach, VA. The position is a contract role offering a chance to apply your skills in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, assessing and responding to patient needs promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures within the scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Respond efficiently to emergencies and unexpected situations, ensuring patient safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Active RN license eligible for practice in Virginia
- Proven experience working in an Emergency Room setting
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to prioritize in a high-stress environment
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
