Job Description
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide critical care in an emergency room setting within a close-knit rural community hospital. Situated in a welcoming area approximately two hours from both Indianapolis and Columbus, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality emergency nursing services while experiencing the benefits of a supportive and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and effective emergency nursing care in the ER
- Assess, monitor, and manage acute patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Utilize skills in BLS, ACLS, and PALS protocols to stabilize and treat patients
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Up-to-date certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies promptly
Location: Based in a rural community near Versailles, Ohio, this hospital serves a broad patient population while offering a calm and friendly community atmosphere. The location provides easy access to larger cities such as Indianapolis and Columbus for personal time or additional conveniences.
