This role is perfect for Registered Nurses eager to deepen their clinical knowledge within a Level 2 Trauma Center, known for handling a wide range of cases from STEMI and stroke to trauma and complex medical scenarios. Expand your expertise with exposure to Epic documentation, cutting-edge equipment such as Hospira infusion and pediatric syringe pumps, and evidence-based protocols. Here, youll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team supported by respiratory therapy and anesthesia, ensuring exceptional patient care.

Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour rotating shifts with varied start times
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Must work one major holiday
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in Emergency Nursing
- Strong preference for 1-2 prior travel assignments, or a background of significant ED experience
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred
- Experience in a teaching hospital setting is valued
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency care for a predominantly elderly population
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and collaborate with respiratory, case management, and transport teams
- Document care in Epic and manage medications via Pyxis
- Uphold professional standards in appearance and teamwork
