Provide emergency nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a Critical Access Hospital setting, specializing in trauma and emergency department patient management. The role involves working night shifts primarily in Kremmling, Colorado, with coverage responsibilities extending to Granby and Fraser. This position is ideal for RNs experienced in Critical Access Hospitals and skilled in trauma and emergency protocols.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Preferred: Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience
• Certifications required or equivalent: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN)
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission through discharge
• Comfortable managing trauma level IV emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department, adhering to established protocols and clinical pathways
• Respond to trauma and medical emergencies with an emphasis on high-quality patient outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively
• Participate in on-call and holiday shift rotations as required
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Schedule:

• Night shifts: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Additional 2 call shifts weekly
• Holiday and on-call coverage mandatory
• All requests for time off must be disclosed during the interview
