An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with Emergency Room experience to provide critical care support on a contract basis. This role involves working primarily night shifts, delivering essential nursing care to patients in an urgent care setting.
Location:

Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Occasional additional shifts as needed; overtime only applies after 48 hours worked
- Some weekend coverage required
- No call duties
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Missouri RN license or compact license eligible for Missouri
- Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients following established protocols
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to deliver high-quality emergency care
This contract assignment lasts approximately 8 to 10 weeks with a start date as soon as possible, offering a focused experience without long-term commitment. Nurses preferring to avoid overtime until after a certain hour threshold will find the scheduling accommodating.
