This role focuses on delivering expert care within the fast-paced environment of an Emergency Room. Youll play a key role in caring for patients and supporting fellow clinicians, ensuring the highest standards of patient outcomes. Experience & Qualifications
- Current RN license, in good standing
- 1+ year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong assessment, triage, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to coordinate care within multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient with electronic medical records and rapid documentation
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-focused nursing care in compliance with established procedures and guidelines
- Supervise and mentor assigned nursing staff on shift
- Initiate and carry out nursing interventions based on assessments and physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the ER setting
- Foster a collaborative approach with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care
- Apply professional discretion and critical judgment when handling emergencies
