As an Emergency Room RN in Tulare, youll work in a modern hospital environment with 108 beds and a collaborative team. This assignment presents an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical expertise by working alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to diverse workplace practices, and mastering new systems like Cerner FirstNet. With 24/7 ER coverage and a robust staffing model5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shiftyoull be challenged and supported as you enhance your resume with valuable new experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
- Weekend coverage required (24/7 ER)
- No on-call
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license with Emergency Room experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (preferred)
- Skilled in rapid assessment, trauma, and stabilization
- Ability to deliver compassionate, effective care under pressure
- Proficiency navigating electronic medical records (Cerner FirstNet experience a plus)
- Flexible and adaptable team player
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate and ongoing care to emergency room patients of all ages
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary staff
- Quickly assess, prioritize, and implement clinical interventions based on patient needs
- Accurately document in Cerner FirstNet EMR
- Uphold hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and safety standards
