This opportunity brings you to a busy emergency department within a 108-bed hospital, where youll play an integral role in supporting excellent patient care. With well-structured staffing per shift (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs), youll enjoy a collegial environment and manageable nurse-to-patient ratios. Rotating schedules ensure every shift brings new learning, while the use of Cerner FirstNet enhances your technical expertisean asset for your professional portfolio.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730 (12 hours)
- Weekend coverage is required for 24/7 patient care
- No on-call obligations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with experience in Emergency Room care
- Proficiency in triage, rapid assessment, and emergency protocols
- Prior experience with Cerner FirstNet EMR system preferred
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care across all patient populations
- Perform timely assessments, interventions, and reassessments
- Effectively document patient care in an advanced EMR, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain safety, professionalism, and patient advocacy in high-pressure settings
