This role allows you to broaden your emergency nursing expertise within an established setting, taking on new workplace practices and observing diverse approaches to leadership in a collaborative and supportive environment. By serving a hospital with a total bed count of 108 and a dynamic Emergency Department team, youll gain invaluable clinical experiencesfurther enhancing your resume and skill set.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Weekend coverage required (24/7 ED coverage)
- No on-call responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care in a fast-paced ER environment
- Accurately document using the Cerner FirstNet EMR system
- Collaborate closely with a team of RNs and ED Techs to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- Triage, assess, and stabilize patients with varying degrees of acuity
- Maintain strong communication with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license with experience in Emergency Room settings
- Proficient in assessment, triage, and ER protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical records; Cerner preferred
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in high-pressure scenarios
