Experienced Registered Nurses are needed to deliver expert care within a dynamic Emergency Department setting. This contract opportunity involves providing comprehensive, patient-focused nursing services, ensuring a high standard of care for every individual under your supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care for individual patients or assigned groups, adhering to established nursing processes and standards
- Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment in dynamic and high-pressure situations
- Supervise, mentor, and guide nursing staff at various levels to promote cohesive team performance
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure clear and accurate documentation of all nursing activities and patient information
- Maintain a patient-centered approach with respect, compassion, and professionalism
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory safety standards
- Support ongoing education and training within the float pool, participating in non-productive hours as needed
Schedule:
- Contract position; schedule will be provided upon onboarding
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with current standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
