Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently in a Float Pool setting
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ER patients
- Adhere to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise, delegate, and provide direction to assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in fast-paced situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Float Pool responsibilities as needed; ensure appropriate timekeeping practices per unit assignment
