Provide expert nursing care in an emergency room setting, ensuring high-quality, coordinated care for assigned patients. This role requires critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory skills to direct nursing staff activities and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The position involves working within established care standards and the nursing process, delivering comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to ER patients following established care standards
- Supervise and guide nursing staff of various levels to maintain quality and safety
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in all aspects of care and supervision
- Ensure accurate documentation of education and non-productive time for Float Pool nurses
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and nursing protocols
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with Emergency Room experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
- Familiarity with nursing processes and care standards in emergency settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
