In this travel role, you will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or designated groups, practicing in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. Youll supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsall while employing your critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory skills. When assigned as a Float Pool nurse, youll ensure you are seamlessly integrating with each unit by following the appropriate clock-in procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible, varied scheduling
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in Emergency Room nursing (ER)
- Proficiency in critical thinking, rapid patient assessment, and emergency interventions
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Experience supervising nursing staff preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care using the nursing process
- Supervise and mentor assigned nursing personnel
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines to ensure holistic treatment
- Exercise sound judgment in fast-paced, emergent situations
